I am the Lord’s Servant

Luke 1:38 (NIV) – “ I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”…

Can you fathom the depth of fear and wonder Mary must have felt when the angel approached her? What a huge risk for her to consider in a time where a betrothed woman’s unfaithfulness could result in being stoned to death. Yet, she was unwavering and willing to be all in; “I am the Lord’s servant – may your word to me be fulfilled.”

What about you are you willing to respond in full obedience to God’s ask of you? Or does your fear hold you hostage – the fear that others will judge you, the fear that others will make fun of you or the fear you will be disowned by your friends or even family members. What is holding you back?

I want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and walk it out just like Mary, just like the disciples, just like John the Baptist, just like David, Esther, Moses and many others. If God has called you, He is faithful to equip you.

Perhaps you were born for such a time as right now!
