Who We Are
Christ Chapel is International, Intergenerational and Intentional; making disciples through community and the Word.
What We Do
A community Bible church, Christ Chapel invests in disciples for the worship and glory of God. Studies, small groups and engagement in transformative community ministry are the larger components of our life together for Christ.
What We Believe
About
- Evangelical: We hold to the historic formulations of Christian belief, including Jesus Christ as the only way to be reconciled with God and the Holy Bible as the true and sufficient Word of God.
- Intergenerational: We serve and love people of all ages and structure our ministry to be of service to all. Children are welcome!
- International: Situated near Cornell University and Ithaca College, we embrace the international nature of our community and seek to be a church that reflects the heart of God for the nations.
- Intentional: Believing that the Christian life doesn’t just “happen,” we are committed to spiritual conversation and community presence, “spurring one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24).
- We serve one another in practical ways and in prayer.
- We encourage small-group Bible study.
- We seek fellowship with the churches of the local community and join them in the work of community-based ministries.
- We have a passion for missions.
- We are glad to answer any questions and to work with anyone who wants to understand the possibilities of new life in Christ and hope for all eternity by coming to peace with God through Him.
