Who We Are

The Campus Christian Center (C3) is a ministry of Community Ministries International (CMI), which has sponsored campus ministries to Arizona State University in Tempe since 1972. Ben and Sarah Sanders are Directors of C3. We are joined by Misty Falkner, Assistant Director, and Amie Pierone, Director of Hospitality and Manager of Eden Tea & Coffee House at C3.

What We Do

We are a home for many different Christian ministries to the Tempe campus of Arizona State University. These ministries offer opportunities to get involved, including Bible studies, retreats, conferences, social events, and summer mission trips both in the U.S. and abroad. So, whether you want to explore the claims of Jesus Christ, further develop your relationship with Him, or help start or lead a movement on campus, we are here for you. We also host (1) the Upper Room, a 24-7 Prayer Room for the ASU campus, (2) the Arizona Center for Christian Studies (AzCCS), which seeks to explore a Christian perspective in every academic discipline, and (3) Arizona State United (ASUnited), a fellowship of Christian collegiate ministry leaders who meet monthly for prayer and conversation and sponsor united Christian events such as all-campus worship events and the Veritas Forum at ASU.

What We Believe

We accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the written Word of God. We believe in the divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness and final authority of the Bible in all matters of faith and practice.

We celebrate:

  • The triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The incarnate Son: Jesus Christ, fully God, fully man.
  • The goodness and beauty of the world, created and sustained by the Word of God’s power.
  • Salvation by grace received through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone, through His life, death and bodily resurrection, redeems us from sin and reconciles us unto God.
  • The essential unity of all believers, who together form one Church, diverse in form and expression, of which Christ is the Head.
  • The continuing ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who empowers the worship, service, and witness of God’s people in all their activities.
  • The ultimate deliverance of the children of God and of all nature from the destructive consequences of the Fall.
  • We further confess the historic statements of the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds.
