Baptist Collegiate Ministries
Bible study, prayer and student life involvement
Who We Are
Baptist Collegiate Ministries at VCU is a Christian student organization that seeks to bless the VCU community through the transforming message of Jesus. BCM is a place where students can explore their spiritual life as they pursue their education. It is for students in all phases of their spiritual journey, whether somebody who has followed Jesus their whole life or somebody who has questions about spiritual matters.
The BCM Center is located in the middle of the Monroe Park campus at the intersection of Floyd and Cherry St (across from the Student Commons and the Cathedral). Our street address is 819 S Cathedral Pl.
What We Do
We meet weekly in small groups on Tuesdays at 7pm at the BCM Center for a time of studying the Bible, community, and prayer. We also meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7pm at the BCM Center for worship. We have other service and social events throughout the semester.
What We Believe
The OSU BCM is about 3 things: Reaching, Training, and Sending… 1. Reaching OSU students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 2. Training them with the gospel to be committed followers of Him 3. Sending them out with the gospel to reach, train, and send others.
